Jules Gulon is a mixer, producer and recording engineer based in London. Working out of his own studio space, his recent work includes mixing for Jordan Rawson, Cher and Dua Lipa, The Manatees, JADE, and Justin Peng, amongst many others.
Originally from France, it was his love for songs in the English language that led him to cut his teeth in London. In the early days, Jules made the most out of his time by playing in rock bands and honing his production and writing skills.
Starting out his career as an assistant engineer at The Pierce Rooms in 2017, Jules picked up a no-nonsense, no-cut-corners approach to recording and mixing music. During his time there, Jules learned what goes behind excellent performances through detailed work. He now carries the same ethos and abilities into his own sessions at Metropolis Studios, Qube and Fish Factory Studios, as well as in his mixing and editing work for high-profile clients such as Vevo, Universal Music Group, Rubyworks, and Amazon Music.
Jules is an adept at balancing technical skills and musical instincts, making his collaborators feel heard and valued, and elevating their experience of crafting music. Teamwork being an important part of his work philosophy, Jules encourages a creative dialogue, leading to records that resonate with many.
