Jules Gulon is a record producer, mix engineer, recording engineer and editor based in London. Originally from France, his initial interest for crafting music led him to cut his teeth across the Channel. Early on in his career, Jules benefited from a very hands-on approach to music-making by playing in bands, and honing his production skills.
As a former assistant engineer at The Pierce Rooms, Jules received the valuable knowledge that goes into recording and mixing music with a no-nonsense, no-cut-corners approach, and applied that knowledge on major records and in various commercial recording studios.
Assisting opportunities transformed into concrete duties for an ever-growing list of artists, producers and engineers who began taking an interest in Jules’ work. He has become an accomplished engineer thanks to the talented minds he teams up with, and has now accumulated increasingly exciting projects for major music and entertainment companies.
Jules is an adept at balancing technical skills and musical instincts, focusing on quality without compromises and bringing the best out of musical performances. Collaboration being an important part of his work philosophy, Jules encourages a creative dialogue, leading to records that resonate with many.
